Sudden Passing of Mrs. Rose Reynolds Shocks Community
The death of Mrs. Floyd Reynolds at four o'clock yesterday afternoon, which was the second death of the day, Mrs. Blessing dieing that morning, came as a shock to the entire community, her illness having been over a period of but two or three days. Her devotion to her beautiful little daughter was an outstanding thing in her life, the child having come to the home after years of married life. Mrs. Reynolds was much beloved by all who knew her.
Ozella May Wilkerson was born March 9, 1891, and died at her home in La Plata, Mo., Feb. 1, 1928. She was born at Boonesboro, Howard Co., Mo., daughter of George F. and Martha Lou Wilkerson. She was married to Floyd E. Reynolds, Dec. 22, 1909. Their daughter, Martha, was born August 23, 1925. Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Alderson of California, and her father, George F. Wilkerson, Boonesboro, Mo., two sisters and four brothers, Lollie Lee, Frank, James Willard, Harry and Hawkins of California, and Anna Herring of Salisbury, Mo. Funeral services will be conducted at the Christian chuch, Friday afternoon at 3:15 by Rev. Shoemaker.
