George Lemoine Scurlock, 74, of Glenwood, Mo., died Thursday (Feb. 1, 1996) at Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Mo.
Mr. Scurlock was born Dec. 15, 1921, near Centerville, Iowa, to George and Carrie McGoldrick Scurlock. He married Erma Irene Engle on April 30, 1945, in Memphis, Mo. Mr. Scurlock farmed and operated a trucking service for area farmers.
He is survived by his wife and one sister, Vera Emogene Scurlock of Twin Pines Nursing Home in Kirksville. Mr. Scurlock was preceded in death by his parents and one half-brother, Victor Scurlock.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Mo., with burial in Glenwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Glenwood.
