Rex E. Bennett

Rex E. Bennett, 47, of Lomax, Illinois, formerly of the Atlanta area, died Tuesday (December 8, 1992), at his home in Lomax.

Mr. Bennett was born April 7, 1945, the son of Charles and Fern Tate Todd. He married Diana Benda on October 17, 1964. They later divorced.

Survivors include his mother, Fern Todd, of Lomax, Illinois; two daughters, Marlena Gladhill and Jessica Raishe, both of Macon; four sons, Richard Bennett, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Robert (Robby) Bennett, Rex Bennett, Jr., and Ryan Bennett, all of Atlanta; one sister, Jan Todd, of Lomax, Illinois; four brothers, Sheldon Bennett, of Aberdeen, Washington, and Merlin Todd, Jack Todd, and Danny Todd, all of Lomax, Illinois; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Bennett was a self-employed carpenter and plumber and maintained several rental properties.
