Della Mae Arment

Della Mae Arment, age 96, of Edina, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 25, 1997 in the Knox County Nursing Home in Edina, Missouri.

She was born October 28, 1900 at Louisburg, Missouri the daughter of David Moore and Mary Melissa Parish.

On December 26, 1918 at Edina, Missouri she was united in marriage to Joe Arment and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1986.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, an infant brother, Harley Lee Parish, a brother, Shelva Loyd Parish, and one sister, Mina Scott.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Ray Arment of Newark, Missouri and Lewis Guy Arment and his wife, Pearl of Bainbridge, Georgia, three grandchildren, David, Julie and Jody Arment, six great-grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Mollie, Jason, Jocelyn and Joshoa Arment, four step grandchildren and fifteenth[sic] step-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Arment was raised in Louisburg, Missouri where she received her education. She was a housewife and homemaker. She and her husband were lifelong residents of Knox County. Mrs. Arment was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening and quilting.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m Thursday, May 29, 1997 in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina, Missouri. The Reverend Neil Jones will officiate the services.

Buril will be in the Park View Gardens in Kirksville.

Music will be provided by Ed Anderson. Musical selections will be "Whispering Hope" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere".

Casket bearers will be Ray Snell, Joe Abell, David Arment, Jody Arment, David Lee Arment and Bill Arment.
