Clements A. Ridings, 80, of Winter Springs, Fla., died Saturday, Dec. 19, 1992, at Meridian Nursing Center in Winter Springs, Fla.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 28, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Macon with Rev. Mr. Bernie Toll officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Macon. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 27, with a Christian Wake Service to be held at 7 p.m. at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon.
Mr. Ridings was born on March 26, 1912, in Macon, the son of Chester and Helen Croarking Ridings. He was married to Dorothy Jane Gwinner.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of the home; one son, Richard Ridings of Richardson, Texas; one daughter, Nancy Walsh of Cairo; one brother, James Ridings of Colorado; and two sisters, Josephine Juppier of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Mary Sue Gibilterra of St. Louis; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ridings moved from St. Louis to Florida in 1978. He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Winter Park Elks' Club, and the Lions' Club.
